At work, the most frequent question I get is “how do I say this?” Normally, I have an answer. Now, in my outside of work life, I realize how often I find myself asking that same question.

I have been in the Recruiting Industry for the past 12 years. [Check my LinkedIn Profile] One thing that’s not on my LinkedIn profile is that in a previous life I worked as a classically trained singer. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean I am good at karaoke.
In my day job, I’m the Vice President of Colleague Learning at one of the largest professional recruitment firms in the world. My team and I are building out this brand new function, which means a lot of experimentation, testing hypotheses, and seeking out answers. I’ve heard that you don’t truly understand something until you can explain it to someone else. A lot of what I post on this website is my struggle to boil down and communicate what I’m curious about and learning.
I enjoy exploring the intersection of recruiting and technology. Currently, I’m reading everything I can about AI, blockchain, people analytics, accessibility and the fourth industrial revolution. On the side, I’m learning Python and Swift.
